The Cava Jaume Giro enterprise was started in the middle of the 19th century by our farming ancestors.
In 1926, Ramón Giró i Mata founded a company that specialised in distilling spirits and winemaking and which, fifty years later, produced their first cava, the embodiment of the artisan philosophy that the Giro family has always maintained: high quality, limited production and selection of grapes from vintages regarded as excellent, with which it is possible to age a wine or cava and enhance the complexity of aromatic characteristics of the base wine.
Thanks to this philosophy, further enhanced by the latest tecnologies, Cava Jaume Giro offers quality wines and cavas that reflect a creative genius that still endures today.
