Champagne Charles Heidsieck, one of the most respected and rewarded Champagne houses based in Reims, France, was founded in 1851. Champagne Charles Heidsieck is among the few prestige brands carrying the Grandes Marques distinction and is internationally acclaimed with prestigious awards and recognition – the House was named Sparkling Winemaker of the Year thirteen times at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) and has been awarded 11 Grand Or medals among many other notable accolades during its illustrious history. Charles Heidsieck was the first producer to bring Champagne to the United States and Champagne Charles Hiedsieck cuvées, offering a unique blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, mature in chalk cellars from 5 to 15 years. This maturation in Les Crayères is essential for the development of the aromatic complexity, refined quality, and fine bubbles which have come to be known as “typiquement Charles” – typical of Charles. Champagne Charles Heidsieck continues its commitment to distinctive and beautifully composed non-vintage Champagne and offers three styles including Brut Réserve, Rosé Réserve, and our newest offering, a Blanc de Blancs.
