Grace Gaboury got her start in wine working in restaurants as she moved west across the country from her home state of Ohio. First landing in Colorado and then onto Los Angeles. In Colorado she began to take a deeper interest in wine and was encouraged by industry professionals to begin thinking about a career as a sommelier. It wasn’t until she moved to Los Angeles and began working at The Tasting Kitchen that she decided to take her mentors advice to study wine more formally. She certified as a sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2014. Grace left The Tasting Kitchen four years ago has been the head Sommelier at Chi Spacca ever since.
Grace earned her Bachelors Degree in Education at The Ohio University where she also studied the cello, played Division 1 field hockey, and participated in a teach abroad program taking her to volunteer in Ghana, West Africa.
