Sarah Lifonzo started her education in wine at the UCLA Extension program, graduating top in her class and earning a certificate in Wine Business and Management. She took her burgeoning skills to LA’s own The Wine House, a premier retailer that has been named one of the “top 10 wine shops in the world” by Wine Spectator. There she continued her education with WSET II, and was a founding member of the Los Angeles chapter of “Women for Winesense,” a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities for women in all aspects of the wine industry.
