Originally from a small town in the Northeast corner of Iowa, Marianna spent part of her childhood in Alsace, France. There, she developed a love of French language, culture and more importantly, wine. Previously, Marianna was the Beverage Director at Baltaire where she curated a list of over 450 wines and a seasonal cocktail menu. Her love of riesling and grower champagne led her to work for Skurnik Wines, importer of the Terry Theise Selections. Now as the sommelier at Cassia, she hopes to continue spreading the gospel of riesling and grower champagne which pairs so beautifully with Chef Bryant’s menu.
