“Born in Florence, Italy, Dino developed a true passion for food and wine at a very early age while watching his grandparents in the vineyard, the cellar and the kitchen. Dino entered the restaurant business at the age of 18, accumulating experience in many restaurants, hotels and banquet services with the goal of opening his own place. In 1999, Dino opened Trattoria “La Martellina” in the Chianti area, followed by “Malvasia” wine Bar in Florence’s historical district.
A sense of adventure and willingness to learning led to a move to Los Angeles in 2005 where Dino worked at numerous Italian restaurants, such as Palmeri, Pecorino and SorTino, while achieving his Sommelier certification with WSA/NASA. Dino is currently the Wine Director at Nerano in Beverly Hills. “
