Jérôme Jacoillot, the Krug winemaker in charge of the iconic Clos du Mesnil, delighted attendeese in a masterclass of Chardonnay through Krug Champagne.

Wines from the house included two vintages of the famed Krug Clos du Mesnil; meanwhile, Jérôme provided context on how he manages to respect the purity and singularity of this key varietal in Champagne. To illustrate the beauty of Chardonnay, Jérôme brought from the cellars in Reims, Krug Clos du Mesnil Vintage 2004, the first time the wine had been presented in the United States.
